Overview
ECOMiniDual is a compact 2-axis servo amplifier for OEM and embedded integration. It controls 2-phase ECOSTEP® motors and stepper motors. Versions include a PCB module, protective housing, or EMC housing, so it adapts to different machine concepts. Connectivity via CANopen and RS232 fits common control architectures. Commissioning is fast with ECOSTUDIO engineering software. The device offers incremental encoder feedback and two encoder interfaces for flexible motion setups.
Why it helps
- Flexible mounting options, from PCB-only to enclosed versions for cabinet use
- Cost-efficient dual-axis control with a very small footprint
- Implemented sequences can replace smaller controllers in suitable applications
- Rich I/O and encoder support reduce external hardware and simplify wiring
- Standard interfaces (CANopen, RS232) make PLC integration straightforward
- Fast setup and tuning using ECOSTUDIO wizards and oscilloscope tools
Where it fits
- 2-axis servo operation, including master-slave architectures
- 2-axis stepper operation, open loop or master-slave
- Voice-coil actuator control with a linear monitoring system
- Compact mechanisms in lightweight automation and embedded devices
