Hardware development
We develop tailor-made electronic hardware to control servo motors for our customers across diverse industrial sectors. Our hardware engineers develop circuit designs, printed circuit board layouts and prototypes - according to ESD and EMC standards. For various application requirements we develop individual encoders and actuator control technology.
We possess and use high-grade measuring instruments for simulating and testing in our technically well-equipped laboratories.
Software development
JAT software engineers develop our drive components' firmware to control servo amplifiers and motors through various interfaces.
If your system requires specific functionalities, our engineers create technology functions. They make it easy to realize customer-specific applications fast and without additional programming effort, thereby reducing time and cost expenditures on the customer's side.
We continually develop our engineering software ECOSTUDIO® for fast and easy commissioning, operation and drive diagnostics.
Our development processes respect current guidelines and use a clean code foundation. Through complete in-house development and agile methods we are able to realize customer projects fast and provide individual solutions.

Design and simulation
Experienced employees make up our design team. Their broad and deep knowledge gained in projects across industries is a cornerstone in developing customer-specific drive solutions.
Through our heavy focus on research we continously introduce new, alternativ materials, processes and methods into our developments.
The JAT experts optimize a drive solution before a prototype is built through simulation software. This guarantees from the start that our systems confirm with the customer's requirements. The customer profits with a fast market entry.

Prototype
A prototype proofs the fulfilment of the required specifications -regarding accuracy, dynamics, reliability, functionality and safety. Our customer profit from our single source solution principle when developing a prototype. All work packages to create a prototype are realized inhouse - from draft, design, functional model production via commissioning to software and servo amplifier development. If applicable, we use 3D printing to ensure a fast production process. Milled parts are designed inhouse as 3D CAD files and sent to our turn-mill centre to be manufactured. Our software developers are fast in adjusting servo amplifier firmwares and technology functions to the respective applications and the customer's requirements.
This enables us to create prototypes faster, more flexible and with low organisational expenses.
Certifications
ATEX, UL, Functional Safety - we take care of the right certification for your drive solution. We offer various servo amplifiers with certified integrated safety functions such as Safe Torque Off (STO) to guarantee a safe operation. We continually expand our portfolio with new products and safety functions. Many products are further certified in accordance with standards pertaining to the machine's application.
Our quality management is certified by IBExU in accordance with the ATEX guideline as well as the DIN EN ISO/IEC 80079-34 standard, allowing our products to be operated in explosive environments. Our servo motor portfolio specifically developed for operation in explosive environments also conforms with the EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-1 standards.
If a customer requirement, we realize further certifications for the corresponding markets, e.g. through UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
