Engineering software ECOSTUDIO®

We would like to inform you well in advance that ECOSTUDIO® will reach the end of its product life cycle (End of Life/EOL) on 31 December 2026. After this date, regular support for the product will be discontinued. This includes, in particular:

• No further feature updates or enhancements
• No security updates or bug fixes
• No guarantee of compatibility with future operating systems or third-party applications

Key dates at a glance:

• The current ECOSTUDIO® Release 4.12 uses a software root certificate that expires on 17 November 2026. After this date, this version can no longer be used.
• ECOSTUDIO® Release 5.0 will be available from August 2026 via the JAT Information Portal or as an automatic update. This version does not require a licence and can be used indefinitely (see Terms of Use).
• Release 5.0 will remain available for download until 11 December 2027. After this date, the software can still be used but will no longer be available for download.

With the new  ECOmotionSuite, we will provide you with a modern, powerful and future-proof platform that will replace the proven  ECOSTUDIO®. This development aims not only to provide you with a compliant solution in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act), but above all to make your commissioning processes significantly more efficient, transparent and user-friendly.
