The 8-Axis Manipulator delivers stable, micron-level positioning for digital radiography, CT and other non-destructive inspections. Independent axes move the X-ray source, sample and detector, allowing engineers to vary angles, distances and tilt without repositioning fixtures. The system handles 60 kg loads yet achieves 0.1 µm positioning resolution and ±25 µm reproducibility over strokes up to 800 mm. Full 360° rotation of the sample plus ±30° tilting motions generate complete coverage for pipes, plates and welded assemblies. A compact welded frame stands only 2.3 m high, saving floor space and easing shielding integration.
