Special Energy Award for the JAT Technology Complex

JAT receives the Facade Award 2021 from the city of Jena in the category Special Award Energy Efficiency. The award recognized the wide range of different ideas we implement in our new building - from a geothermal heat pump powered by a PV system to spring water cooling for our server rooms and roof irrigation. "These approaches go beyond the usual state of the art," the judges said.
 
Ms. Wackernagel hands the Award over. She chaired the meetings of the Jena City Council for many years and experienced our approval phase, which was more like a marathon than a sprint.
At the award ceremony, she emphasized that such a creative and comprehensive approach was only conceivable in a house full of engineers and technicians.

The facade prize was awarded for the 29th time by the city of Jena.
