automatica Highlight: 8 axes controlled by just one servo amplifier

The ECOMODUL is controlled via the CANopen interface or via EtherCAT. A USB interface is also available for parameterization. The STO functionality affects all connected axes.
In addition, I / O modules or customer-specific modules can be used in the ECOMODUL, e.g. for an external encoder system or other fieldbus interfaces. Depending on the functionality required, the amplifier can control up to eight axes and measures just 145 (D) x 79 (W) x 212 (H) mm.

automatica Highlight: Technology function for reducing vibrations

The "ImPosAnt" development project by JAT and TU Dresden offers a solution for highly dynamic drives. It reduces vibrations on the mould by applying an opposing force to a compensation drive. This increases quality and productivity without the need for heavy machine structures. It is implemented on the software side as a technology function in the JAT servo amplifiers of the ECOVARIO series, which enables simple parameterisation.

automatica Highlight: Pick & Place System with air bearing and CFRP axes

The production of microelectronics is becoming more and more precise, calling for innovation. JAT is breaking new ground in order to meet the ever increasing demands towards accuracy and dynamics. The new FAST 4 PnP gantry system boasts an innovative technology combination to deliver a super fast and supremely precise pick'n'place process. The foundational granite has high thermal stability and very good vibration damping, therefore it is ideally suited for nanometer range precision positioning. A frictionless CFRP axis runs on air bearings on top of it. Due to its high mechanical and thermal load-bearing capacity, CFRP is ideal for extremely high processing speeds. The frictionless air bearings in combination with the minimal axis weight enable accelerartions of 100 m/s² and more.

Trade fair highlight: ECOVARIO® 415D with 230 V connection and two axes

With the 415D, JAT strengthens the ECOVARIO® family with another member since 2023: A compact solution with high connectivity designed to operate two axes. Thanks to numerous interfaces, the new servo amplifier can be used in a wide range of highly dynamic and high-precision positioning tasks.

Trade fair highlight: JAT technical documentation now also available as an app for Android and iOS

The handling of technical documentation has been significantly simplified, which reduces the workload for manufacturers and users. At the same time, dispensing with physical carrier media contributes to a more sustainable use of natural resources. All information on products and solutions is provided in the JAT information portal. The information portal can be used free of charge as a web version or as an app for Android and iOS.

  • The JAT information portal can be used in the browser or as an app
  • Documents like data sheets, certificates, CAD and EPlan data are accessible without password
  • With general access data, manuals, application notes and software are available for downloading
