Level control, without pneumatic

Automatically regulated vessel filling with a servo arm

Level control is a technology function that is integrated into the JAT servo amplifiers. It enables the electro-mechanical tracking of the filling lance based on the current filling level.

The servo arm as a vessel-filling device consists of a motor, an axis and a servo amplifier. Its application is to fill vessel of various shapes with e.g. chemicals, lacquers or cremes. The filling level is measured by an ultrasonic sensor or through weight equivalence. The filling lance’s current height is determined based on the corresponding encoder value, allowing for the distance between the two to be freely set. This method also covers filling irregular shaped vessels.

As the function is integrated into the JAT servo amplifiers, there is no need for pneumatic components.
