Multi-axis system sets new standards in terms of accuracy
The combination of air bearing technology and lightweight construction combined in one gantry system meets the highest demands in terms of dynamics and accuracy.
JAT combines air bearing technology & composite materials (CFRP) for the first time for an innovative motion solution, for a highly dynamic positioning system in the nanometer range.
The system can be used to move a fiber laser, for example, in a highly dynamic manner. The corresponding dynamics have the advantage that the material to be processed does not burn. The air bearings enable frictionless movement, corners and radii thus receive a clean and precise contour. In addition, it would be possible to work simultaneously, i.e. to attach another tool on the other side of the axis. Which saves costs and time for the end user.
Such a solution does not yet exist on the market and will be presented for the first time at the SPS in Nuremberg from 8-10.11.2022.
