ECOSPEED 80B313-0710 ATEX, servo motor for Zones 1 and 2

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0710 ATEX helps engineers combine certified explosion protection with dynamic performance in one motor. The 88 mm Ex d housing supports compact installation, while 2.69 Nm peak torque and 3500 rpm enable fast indexing and precise positioning in demanding processes. The 560 V DC link variant fits common 400 V cabinet concepts and supports efficient use of available power. ATEX compliant design and UL certification reduce effort for risk assessment, documentation and audits in regulated projects.

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0710 ATEX is suited for rotary axes in machines that operate in Zone 1 or Zone 2 with flammable gases or vapors. Typical uses include, for example: 

• Filling and dosing systems in chemical or process plants

• Mixers, agitators or rotary valves in solvent based production

• Rotary handling or positioning units in coating, printing or surface treatment equipment where certified explosion protection is required

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0710 ATEX integrates into JAT drive systems with clearly defined electrical and feedback interfaces:

• Three phase servo connection for operation at up to 560 V DC link in matched servo amplifier systems

• Standard multiturn absolute encoder with high resolution (typically 13 bit singleturn and 12 bit multiturn) and serial interface, supplied with 10 to 30 V for precise position feedback

• Optional encoder variants, holding brake and gear unit within the ECOSPEED 80B3x3 ATEX series

• Dedicated motor and encoder cable sets with trailing capability, using outer diameters around 8.9 mm and 10.4 mm and minimum bend radiuses chosen for dynamic cable chains
