ECOSPEED 80B313-0240 ATEX, servo motor for Zones 1 and 2

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0240 ATEX helps engineers combine high dynamics with certified explosion protection in gas and solvent atmospheres. 3.45 Nm peak torque and a maximum speed of 7000 rpm support short cycle times and precise positioning in demanding processes. The 560 V DC link capability fits common 400 V AC cabinet concepts and ECOVARIO servo amplifiers, while the ATEX II 2G Ex db IIB T4 Gb and UL approvals reduce effort for risk assessments, documentation and audits in regulated projects.

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0240 ATEX is suited for rotary axes in machines that operate in Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments with flammable gases or vapors. Typical uses include, for example:  

• Drives in filling systems for flammable liquids such as alcohols or solvents 

• Rotary functions in painting and coating lines, plastics processing or printing equipment in Ex areas 

• Handling, dosing or mixing units in chemical and process plants where certified Ex motors are required 

The ECOSPEED 80B313-0240 ATEX integrates into JAT drive systems with clearly defined electrical and feedback interfaces:  

• Three phase servo connection for DC link voltages up to 560 V DC, suitable for ECOVARIO 616A and 616D, and for 325 V DC link systems with ECOVARIO 415D or 414 

• Standard multiturn absolute encoder with BiSS or SSI serial interface, matching ECOVARIO and ECOSTEP servo amplifiers 

• Optional incremental encoder, holding brake and gear unit within the ECOSPEED 80B3x3 ATEX series 

• Predefined motor power and encoder cable sets, with trailing-capable assemblies up to 35 m available depending on the configuration
