JAT Presents New Servo Drive Platform at SPS 2025: ECOviva & ECOmotionSuite
With the introduction of the new ECOviva servo drive and the ECOmotionSuite commissioning software, Jenaer Antriebstechnik GmbH (JAT) will present a completely new platform for modern servo drive technology at SPS 2025 in Nuremberg.
The new system generation has been developed from the ground up to meet the increasing demands for performance, efficiency, and flexibility in mechanical engineering. Thanks to the consistent architecture of hardware and software, drives can now be adapted faster, more easily, and more individually to customer applications.
“With ECOviva and ECOmotionSuite, we are creating a platform that combines the best of two worlds: precise drive technology and intelligent software integration,” explains Carl Götze, Team Lead New Markets & Technologies. “This lays the foundation for the machines of tomorrow.”
The ECOviva servo drive impresses with its compact design, integrated safety functions (STO), single-cable solution via Hiperface DSL, and an open communication design based on EtherCAT. Through the new web interface of ECOmotionSuite, users can conveniently parameterize, diagnose, and monitor the drive live — even on mobile devices.
At SPS 2025, JAT will showcase the new platform with an interactive live demo at the exhibition booth. Visitors will have the opportunity to commission the servo drive themselves and experience how intuitive and fast the new software works. Every successful commissioning will be rewarded, and the fastest participant can win an attractive prize.
