ECOSPEED 80B32-0250 ATEX, servo motor for Zones 1 and 2

ECOSPEED 80B32-0250 ATEX helps engineers achieve safe, dynamic rotary motion in hazardous areas without oversizing the drive. 3.5 Nm peak torque provides reserves for acceleration, while 1.5 Nm rated torque at 3000 rpm supports continuous operation at working speed. The 325 V DC link fits common cabinet concepts and simplifies integration. The ATEX II 2G Ex db IIB T4 Gb design together with UL certification reduces approval effort for machines that must meet international safety standards.

This motor is suitable for rotary axes in equipment that operates in gas or solvent atmospheres where ignition protection is required. Typical uses include, for example: 

• Indexing and positioning tasks in chemical or process plants 

• Drives for mixers, dosing units or turntables in Zone 1 or Zone 2

The ECOSPEED 80B32-0250 ATEX is supplied as a three phase servo motor for 325 V DC link operation and is validated with the ECOVARIO 414 servo amplifier. Key interfaces include:
