For the Institute for Engineering Design (IK) at the Technical University of Braunschweig, JAT developed a multi-axis system designed to enable the production of multimaterial components using 3D printing.
To achieve this, additive manufacturing, innovative product design, materials research, and machine development must work together seamlessly. This requires mechatronics capable of precisely positioning materials along all axes and coordinating each process step with exact synchronization.
